The first Springboard Customer Association Committee came into ‎being in 1995 with the election of 15 members representing our customers. The ‎SCA celebrates its 15th birthday this year and will also be electing new ‎members.‎

Every year, representatives must try to attend six committee meetings and ‎any relevant away days, and hold eight local meetings in various regions. The representatives ‎act as a bridge between Springboard and its customers and are responsible ‎for representing the views of customers to staff at the highest level.‎

What's in it for me?

If you would like to become involved, ‎there are many benefits to being a member. For ‎example:

  • prizes - for most activities we offer a £10 gift voucher for ‎taking part, maybe more at times
  • ‎training ‎
  • ‎meeting new people and developing friendships
  • ‎developing confidence and communication skills
  • ‎work experience through volunteering
  • ‎involvement in your local community
  • ‎opportunity to attend different events and visit other areas where ‎Springboard has homes
  • ‎opportunity to tell us what you think - and what we can do to improve!‎

We want you to get involved!

Representatives hold local customer association meetings in each local area ‎every month (with the exception of August and December).

It's a chance for customers to meet their representatives and discuss any ‎Springboard issues that concern them - and share any good news stories, too. It's also a chance for us to consult with residents about important issues ‎that affect them.
