We recognise that customers play an important part in improving our
services. We want you to feel informed, and involved in how we
manage your homes and what we do in your communities.
After all, you live there! Who better to tell us what we're doing
right and what we could improve; and to share ideas that could help
us do just that. Having your say means a lot to us.
So how can I become
involved?
There are many ways you can get involved:
• editorial panel
• reading club
•
take part in surveys
•
become a mystery
shopper
• Springboard customer
association
• Springboard board
member
• focus group
• estate inspections
• residents'
association
You get involved as much or as little as you want, it really does
depend on the time you have available.

opportunities available to Springboard
customers.

Our customer involvement
calendar (pdf, 2Mb) also gives you more information
on what you can do, and the benefits of this to you as a
resident.

Start a customer association
One of the most popular ways of raising issues and monitoring
action is to set up a local Customer Association or Community
Group. This means that your association can speak with one voice
to address any problems or concerns.
Our staff will often attend your meetings and funding could be
available.
Social activities and events are often arranged, and it is a good
opportunity to meet new people.
This can take from around two hours to 10 hours of your time per
month according to how active your association is. We can help you
with sending information to your neighbours, booking local venues,
arranging refreshments, posting out notices, researching funding
and providing training so that you and your neighbours can
effectively run your own group. They don't have to be boring
meetings; you can get a lot done just by having a chat over a
coffee.
