Customer involvement

We recognise that customers play an important part in improving our ‎services. We want you to feel informed, and involved in how we ‎manage your homes and what we do in your communities.

After all, you live ‎there! Who better to tell us what we're doing right and what we could improve; and to share ideas that could help us do just that. Having your say means a ‎lot to us.‎

So how can I become involved?‎

There are many ways you can get involved:

‎•‎ editorial panel
‎•‎ reading club
•‎ take part in surveys
‎• ‎ become a mystery shopper
‎•‎ Springboard customer association
•‎ Springboard board member
‎•‎ focus group
‎•‎ estate inspections
‎•‎ residents' association

You get involved as much or as little as you want, it really ‎does depend on the time you have available.

Our customer involvement calendar (pdf, 2Mb) also gives you more information on what ‎you can do, and the benefits of this to you as a resident. ‎

Start a customer association

One of the most popular ways of raising issues and monitoring action is to ‎set up a local Customer Association or Community Group. This means that ‎your association can speak with one voice to address any problems or ‎concerns. ‎

Our staff will often attend your meetings and funding could be available.

‎Social activities and events are often arranged, and it is a good opportunity ‎to meet new people.

This can take from around two hours to 10 hours of your time per month ‎according to how active your association is. We can help you with sending ‎information to your neighbours, booking local venues, arranging ‎refreshments, posting out notices, researching funding and providing training ‎so that you and your neighbours can effectively run your own group. They ‎don't have to be boring meetings; you can get a lot done just by having a ‎chat over a coffee.‎
