Springboard's Home Improvement Service organises repair, adaptations or improvement work to be carried out, to enable home owners to stay in their home for longer.

How does the service work?

A member of our team will visit you at home to discuss your needs and the ways that we may be able to help you. This visit is free.

We will consider the various ways that you can pay for any work that needs to be carried out. We may be able to find you help through grants or benefits or, as a home-owner we can suggest ways to release money from the value of your home. And our fees can often be met by grants.

If you want to proceed after the initial visit, we will get competitive quotes from reliable contractors for any work that you agree to. We will deal with the paperwork, apply for grants you may be eligible for and oversee the work until it is finished, making sure that it is done properly.

We operate in Rochford and Uttlesford District Council areas.
